Plug in the Device: Connect your Trezor device to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
Detection: Your browser should automatically detect the device and prompt you to continue the setup.
Step 4: Initialize Your Trezor Device
Initialization: Choose to initialize the device if prompted. You can either create a new wallet or recover an existing one.
Create a New Wallet:
Generate Recovery Seed: Your Trezor will display a series of words (recovery seed). Write these down on the provided recovery card. Do not store this digitally or share it with anyone.
Confirm Recovery Seed: Verify the recovery seed by selecting the words in the correct order as prompted.
Step 5: Set Up a PIN Code
Choose a PIN: Enter a PIN code on your Trezor device. This adds an extra layer of security.
Confirm the PIN: Re-enter the PIN code to confirm.
Step 6: Firmware Installation
If your Trezor device does not come with pre-installed firmware, you will need to install it.
Install Firmware: Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest firmware.
Reconnect Device: After installing the firmware, disconnect and then reconnect your Trezor device.
Step 7: Access Your Wallet
Go to Trezor Wallet: Open wallet.trezor.io in your browser.
Connect Your Device: Follow the prompts to connect your Trezor device to the Trezor Wallet interface.
Step 8: Manage Your Cryptocurrencies
Add Accounts: Within the Trezor Wallet interface, you can add accounts for different cryptocurrencies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
Send and Receive: Use the Trezor Wallet interface to send and receive cryptocurrencies securely.
